A Perfectly Timed Maternity Session | Sadie & Donovan

Some sessions are planned weeks—sometimes months—in advance. And then there are the ones that come together almost by magic. Sadie and Donovan’s maternity session was exactly that kind of magic.

What started as a simple message—“Do you have any plans today?”—turned into a full maternity session pulled together in about two hours flat. Outfits were planned, a location was chosen, and before we knew it, everything was falling perfectly into place.

We met at the park and immediately knew we had chosen the right spot. Between the peaceful boardwalk and the stunning views down at the dock, the location gave us the most beautiful backdrop—natural, calm, and timeless. The soft light, the water, and the quiet moments in between created the perfect setting to celebrate this season of their lives.

Sadie and Donovan showed up glowing with happiness, love, and pure joy. Every laugh, every glance, and every moment felt genuine and effortless. Sessions like this are a reminder of why I love what I do—capturing real connection and authentic emotion in a way that tells a story far beyond the photos themselves.

By the end of our time together, it felt like so much more than just a session. I’m incredibly grateful to have met these two and to have captured such a special chapter for them. And while they may have started as clients, I’m definitely hoping this is the beginning of future friendships (fingers crossed 🤍).
